When the Internet Fails

 When the Internet Fails

In the morning light I sit with cheer,

A cup of coffee, my connection near.

I seek to surf, to browse, explore,

But alas! My Wi-Fi is no more.

Oh cruel fate, why play this game?

With spinning wheels and loading frames.

My favorite memes are lost in time,

Just black screens mocking with their rhyme.

A click away from joy once bright,

Yet error pages fill my sight.

The dog memes and cats in hats,

All lost to glitchy cyber spats.

My Zoom calls turn to ghostly squares,

While I wave at folks who never care.

They can't hear me; I shout in vain,

As tech support drives me insane.

Oh Wi-Fi gods, please hear my plea!

Restore this link; set my thoughts free!

For without the net where dreams convene,

I'm just a ghost in a buffering screen.

So here's my tale of woe and frown—

When you’re online but still feel down.

Next time you buffer in endless plight,

Just laugh and know you're not alone tonight.
